" Open Ended" a group show at Mainframe galleria' Karachi
Yesterday we attended a beautiful inaugural exhibition of ‘ Mainframe galleria ‘. Shahzad Saerd Ahmed returns back to Karachi and gathers big names of Pakistan's art scene under one roof. It seems like a pleasant wave in Karachi's art scene.
Works of Renowned Artists like Saeed Akhter, Abrar Ahmed, Rind , Farrukh Shahab , Ali Abbas , Salman Faroqi , Ali Azmat, Najiya Azmat , Qamar and others were on display.
Saeed Akhter , a color blind master painter of Pakistan, known for their typical portraits of women; carved nose, long neck and intense eyes. The most inspiring painting was Abrar’s woman in blue with his unique texture and merging elements. Farrukh's self portrait painting with elongated hands screams of his inner self. Vibrant Colors of Salman’s boats shouting among other paintings.
It was a beautiful show indeed and we wish that Shahzad will achieve his goals and will create a good art market for senior artists, emerging ones and new comers as well.
